2010 Primetime Emmy Winners

Two words: MODERN FAMILY! Thank you, Academy, for making the right choice. Sure, sure, I am grieving over the loss of Glenn Close's and Hugh Laurie's Emmy chances, but hey, there's still next year (And hell yes, there will be a next year for Damages! Thank you DirecTV!) for my beloved Damages and House.

Not too much to say right now because I'm still hopped up on excitement from Eric Stonestreet's (how insanely adorable was Jesse Tyler Ferguson when he cried over Eric's win?), Steve Levitan & Christopher Lloyd's, and Modern Family ensemble's wins. I also audibly yelped when Aaron Paul won for Breaking Bad. AGH! He SO deserved that win and I'm so glad he was recognized this year. I still felt like he was robbed last year, especially considering he submitted an episode that was definitely Emmy worthy. I'm also loving and hating Bryan Cranston's consecutive win for best actor in a drama series (Breaking Bad), because as much as I love my Breaking Bad, I will forever and always be loyal to Hugh Laurie and House.

Good TV prevails this year, thank god.

One important question still looms in the air though: will Steve Carrell ever be able to witness the sweet, sweet victory of winning an Emmy, especially considering his next year on The Office will be his last? Let's hope his last season is the best, and the Academy recognizes that.
