2010 CFDA Awards Arrivals and Winners

(Marc Jacobs, left, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone, right)

My favorite designer and basically the love of my life, Marc Jacobs, has been named womenswear designer of the year at the 2010 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone have been named menswear designers of the year.

Alexis Bittar was named Accessory Designer of the Year, and the Swarovski Award for new talent went to: Jason Wu (womenswear), Richard Chai (menswear), and Alexander Wang (accessories), respectively.

The Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award went to none other but the great Michael Kors. You may know and love him from Project Runway, but what he's really known for is becoming one of the greatest American designers of all time.
